Der talnahe Premiumweg hat einiges zu bieten. Er führt über ein Hochmoor vorbei an zwei Almgebieten, durch die Auenwäldern der Lofer und die Schlucht der Klausenbachklamm zu einer schönen Rastmöglichkeit an einen Wiesenweiher.
Tourenbeschreibung:
The well-signposted path starts at the parking lot of the Reit im Winkl festival hall. From here you follow the steps uphill to a playground . You pass this on the right side up to a house. In front of this, the path leads to the right into a forest . Especially on hot summer days, it is now very cool here in the gorge . It continues to the end along the gorge. Signposts now point towards the Zwerchenberg Alm . After a break, hike back to the sign and turn right here. The path leads slightly uphill to a fence . This is easy to cross by stairs. From here there is a very good, yellow-marked path leading downwards. The hiker only has to cross the Großer Steinbach once and then follow the path to the left to the parking lot.
The hike leads past a high moor, the Demel-Hauseralm and a pond . So there is a lot to see and do here.
Aus Richtung München oder Salzburg auf der Bundesautobahn München - Salzburg (A8 bis Grabenstätt Ausfahrt Nr. 109), weiter Richtung Marquartstein und auf der gut ausgebauten Deutschen Alpenstrasse (B 305) nach Reit im Winkl.
Aus Richtung München oder Innsbruck auf der Bundesautobahn Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) bis Oberaudorf (Ausfahrt Nr. 59). Weiter nach Walchsee, Kössen und Reit im Winkl.
Parkplätze: Tirolerstrasse 37 am Festsaal, Dorfstrasse 38 an der Tourist - Info, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
