Trailrun - Kruchenhausen - Wössner See - Eglsee

Start at the Altes Bad. Walk up the Hochgernweg, turn right at Am Bichlhof, then left (before the bridge) and follow the forest path along the Kaltenbach, to the concrete bridge over the stream, then keep right, slightly uphill, then downhill, uphill, then follow the signs towards Wössner See, then follow the narrower footpath towards Oberwössen, campsite. The path winds its way through the forest along the mountain until you reach the Litzelau campsite. There, take the exit towards the B305, cross the main road, then follow the Eglseeweg to the left of the bus company. At the end of the settlement keep right, past the rocks and lake, until you turn right behind the lake, towards the wooden stairs up the mountain, then follow the path downhill until just before Kruchenhausen, where you turn left towards Balsberg on the forest path, then over the Balsberg slope (where the paragliders practice), then over the Wössener Bach and Wendelweg back towards the village center.
