Can you imagine how previous generations lived? Would you like to try this out on your holiday? The house is from anno 1583 and may remind you of the old stories of your great-grandparents. Much here is reminiscent of how it used to be, embedded in modern comfort, so a real experience living. And all of it artistically tasteful and lovingly arranged. Add to this the fantastic mountain view from the window to Marquartstein Castle, from Predigtstein to Hochlerch, the foothill of Hochgern, as well as the sublime rock panorama of the Luchsfellwand. You also look directly into the spacious garden at the beautiful Richard Strauss Villa.
Enjoy the quiet large garden, marvel at the fantastic mountain panorama of the Achental towards the Kampenwand, Hochplatte and Geigelstein. Whether you are hiking, mountain biking, paragliding or swimming, everything is just around the corner or right in the middle of it, because you are now on holiday in one of the most beautiful corners of Germany. Or you can simply relax, barbecue in the garden or read a book from our house library. It's fabulous here in winter too, you can relax on winter walks, go cross-country skiing, skiing, tobogganing or build a giant snowman in the garden. Maybe you will be lucky and can go ice skating on Lake Chiemsee or Lake Wössen.
Please note that the entrance, hallways and stairs are shared areas with the host family. The cosy holiday rooms with shared bathroom are on the 1st floor, the cosy vaulted kitchen with sitting area is on the ground floor. It is possible to bring your pets for a fee upon request.
