The route is particularly recommended during the toboggan run's operating hours, as it means you can easily avoid any oncoming toboggan traffic. The start is at the valley station of the Hochplattenbahn. From here the path leads up along the stream. The cable car route is crossed twice on the way. Across a large forest clearing you finally get past the hang glider launch ramp to the mountain station of the Hochplattenbahn, where the toboggan run is also located. A few meters above, the Staffn-Alm mountain inn invites you to stop for a rest (note opening times).
