The hike to the Bäckeralm, which has existed since 1799, can be started at the Adlgaß hiking car park . Simply follow path no. 29 over a forest road . After about 25 minutes, this leads to a fork in the road where you turn left. The hike leads along natural paths past a forest hut and an alpine meadow (duration of ascent: approx. 1 hour) .
The Bergalm can also be easily reached from the Holzen district . The path leads to the hut via a well-signposted forest road that is suitable for prams(ascent time: 1 ¼ hours) .
The Alm offers regional, homemade snacks with their own cheese and the traditional Kaiserschmarn . This not only makes the heart of all "sweet tooth" beat faster, but often counts for a stop in the mountains like mountain boots for hiking. It is also managed in bad weather , so hikers can sit in the large and cozy room of the hut.
