There is a lot to discover for young and old on the grounds of the farmhouse museum in Amerang . In the midst of gardens and meadow orchards you will find farmhouses and workshops and get an insight into everyday rural life in the Chiemgau and the Rupertiwinkel. In the individual buildings you will get to know the stories about the buildings and their former inhabitants. Exhibitions bring you closer to everyday farming life in the past. The museum invites you to participate, relax and pause in equal measure.
Throughout the year, the museum has various program items - both for children and adults - and invites you to take part. It is a popular excursion destination for the whole family: there is an age-appropriate museum guide and a treasure hunt for children that they can embark on. If the little ones are also part of the party, handcarts are available to borrow.
The Museumsstüberl and the shop are there for you to stop off during or after your visit to the museum.
