The family-friendly prices of the Hochplattenbahn are particularly attractive: the second and all subsequent children in a family travel for free, children up to five years of age are generally free.There are 20 stations on the hike where you can learn a lot about nature. In addition to a large silhouette wall, you will find play huts, sound boards and various information boards along the way. At the beginning, the route goes past idyllic mountain huts and up into the forest. Hanging chairs, benches or the relaxation hill are available for breaks. At the highest point of the circular hike, hikers can expect a fantastic view of Lake Chiemsee and the Achental. The shady paths lead in an arc around the summit of the small Staffen and after three kilometers you come back to the wide alpine meadows, which you can cross back to the starting point.
