Chiemsee shipping
Bicycles can be carried on some ships in the fleet to a limited extent. However, cycling is not allowed on the islands of the Chiemsee; the bikes must be parked near the landing stage when leaving the ship. A bicycle ticket must be purchased.
Chiemseering line
The Chiemseering line is the first public transport line to circumnavigate the Lake Chiemsee directly. It opens up numerous possibilities for combined hiking and cycling tours and is on the road seven days a week from Pentecost to the beginning of October.
Line scheme:
A bus leaves Prien three times a day and goes around the lake in the direction of Übersee - Chieming - Gstadt.
A bus leaves Chieming twice a day and goes around the lake in the direction of Übersee - Prien - Gstadt.

Chiemgau Local Railway
The historic trains of the Chiemgauer Lokalbahn(LEO) run every Sunday and public holiday between Bad Endorf and Obing during the summer half-year. Taking bicycles with you is free of charge on all trains. Please note that there is only limited space available for this.
