The difficult cross-country ski run for the Chiemgau Team Trophy starts at the Max Aicher Arena . First you walk through Inzell , past the Froschsee in the direction of Ruhpolding. The first climb awaits you right at the beginning before you then walk downhill in the direction of Ruhpolding and can take a breather and enjoy the landscape. The trail leads you through Ruhpolding in the direction of the Three Lakes Region , the scenic highlight of the trail. Embedded in the Chiemgau mountains , you walk along frozen lakes through the snowy winter landscape. You will always be accompanied by smaller and larger climbs and descents. The trail leads you past the Weitsee in the direction of Seegatterl , where you continue past the valley station of the ski area in the direction of Reit im Winkl . The trail continues slightly downhill in the direction of Blindau. Two more climbs await you before you reach the finish in the cross-country stadium .
