Ferienhof Oberhuber F

The Oberhuber vacation farm is so picturesquely situated that sometimes we can hardly believe it ourselves: surrounded by meadows at the foot of the Chiemgau Alps, close to the Tiroler Ache river in an absolutely secluded location near Staudach. Our village not only has one of the best inns, which you can reach on foot in just a few minutes, but its rural structure has remained untouched by new developments to this day. Lake Chiemsee can be reached in 15 minutes, Rosenheim in 40 minutes, Traunstein is just under 20 km away and the Austrian border with its ski resorts can be reached in just under half an hour.

Our farm has a very long history - it was first mentioned in a document in 1579. It has been owned by our family since 1800, who rented rooms to summer visitors as early as the 1930s.

We inaugurated our new vacation apartments in September 2023 - after careful consideration, the old building was replaced by a new one built in the traditional style. For this reason, our five vacation apartments are not only particularly spacious, but also equipped to a high standard. The walls are soundproofed, each apartment has its own Wi-Fi and underfloor heating and our largest unit, "Burg Hohenstein", on the ground floor with 100 square meters, even pampers guests with its own tiled stove and ash wood floorboards from our own forest. What you will enjoy most, however, is the view from the balconies and the terrace into the unspoiled nature all around: over lush meadows, the intact Egerndacher Filz to our beautiful local mountains - the Hochgern and the Schnappenberg. Vacation starts right on our doorstep!
