There is a private parking lot for guests in front of the forester's lodge. However, you can also park at the tourist information office in Inzell and follow Traunsteiner Straße north. At some point you leave the city and find the first piece of forest . Keep to the right here and cross Kreuzfeldstrasse . You pass the Kress guest house and cross a small bridge . Now all you have to do is follow the road until you reach the forester's lodge (duration of ascent: approx. 1 ½ hours) .
You can also make a detour from the inn to the idyllically situated Frillensee . All you have to do is follow the forest road ( path no. 14 ). The path is very well signposted with the inscription "Frillensee-Runde" . The path leads through a mixed forest along the Frillenseebach . This is crowned by the mountain forest adventure trail(duration of ascent: approx. 1 ¼ hours) .
The Forsthaus is managed by the three sisters Ursula, Gertrud and Christine. It is surrounded by beautiful alpine meadows and forests . Even when the weather is bad, everyone is comfortable here, as the inn offers four dining rooms heated with tiled stoves . When the fire is crackling inside and it is comfortably warm, you can forget about the weather outside. The three sisters always try to serve regional and organic delicacies and are also members of the Slowfood organization.
For the little guests there are play facilities at the forester's lodge and the path is also passable for prams.
