Description: Hike to the Gscheuerwand - From the Achberg car park in Schleching, take the forest path and at the first bend go straight on towards the Gscheuerwand. Along the way, you pass the deer feeding area above Achberg. On the short path, you have the first beautiful view towards Lake Chiemsee and the Achental valley. Continue on the forest path to the Gscheuerwand. The last few meters are on paths up to the wall. The left ascent leads directly along the steeply sloping wall. If you are afraid of heights, you should choose the right ascent. The Gscheuerwand is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Achental valley. From there, you can see the Achental valley as far as Lake Chiemsee. The descent leads along the forest path to the Haider Alm and from there back to the starting point at the Achberg car park.The tour guarantees wonderful views over the entire Achental and on the descent towards the Wilder Kaiser.
