Haar_Alm / Haar Alm Schneid

From the Urschlau car park, hike a few meters north past a chapel and an old farmstead and turn left into the forest path. Now it goes uphill through a snowy winter forest along a ditch until you come to a forest road. Now follow this about 200 m to the west and turn right. It's quite easy going uphill through the forest, past an icy spring well and finally over a meadow slope to the huts of the Haaralm. The southern slope of the Haar Alm Schneid rises steeply into the sky and requires experienced snowshoe hikers. Note the danger of avalanches and wait for stable snow conditions. Good walking technique in steep terrain is necessary, otherwise it is better to end the tour at the alpine huts.
