For over 100 years there has been a hiking path beside the Hausbachfall waterfall. Now, there is also a via ferrata for experienced climbers on the other side of the waterfall. You can reach it very easy and fast from the town centre.

Altitude difference: 100 metres
Level of difficulty: B and C (medium and difficult), for small persons D (difficult and very difficult)
Parking: at the Festsaal Reit im Winkl, Tiroler Straße 37. From the Festsaal you get to the via ferrata in about 15 minutes. The via ferrata is located behind the church at the Grünbühel / barefoot park.

Spring/ Summer/ Autumn: the via ferrata is open, depending on weather and experience
Attention: The via ferrata is close to the waterfall, so there are a lot of wet places after rainy days.
Winter: If there is snow the via ferrata is closed.
