Die private Berghütte liegt auf 1.461 m Höhe auf der Südseite des
Hochgern, der mit seinen 1.748 m Höhe, zu den schönsten Aussichtsbergen
im Chiemgau gehört.

Das Hochgernhaus erreicht man vom Achental aus in ca. 2 bis 2 ½ Stunden.
