Tour description:
Your cross-country skiing tour begins in the district of Sterr. You run 5.2 kilometers east of Inzell through the snowy winter landscape. Idyllically located, the moderately difficult trail is quite demanding thanks to a long, not too steep climb and is particularly suitable for sporty cross-country skiers. Whether in classic or skating style is entirely up to you.
A longer climb awaits you right at the beginning. From Sterr it's always uphill to Einsiedl, the highest point of the cross-country ski run. The view you enjoy from up here makes up for the effort of the ascent. On one side you can see far into the Inzell valley. On the other side rise the Chiemgau Alps. The neighboring church of St. Nicholas is also worth a visit before continuing on the Oberlandloipe. Now it goes slightly downhill. The trail takes you along the foot of the Gruberhörndl to Paulöd. To get back to the starting point, you walk comfortably through the snowy moorland on the edge of the Falkenstein . The landscape here can be described as idyllic and natural. In addition to the view, it is the special feature of this trail. At the end it goes slightly uphill again. A small climb awaits you on the way from Würau towards Breitmoos before you reach your starting point in Sterr.
