The path connects the three most important monasteries in the Chiemgau. Baumburg - with the church located on a steep slope of the Trauntal, from which you can enjoy an enchanting view. Seeon - lying on a peninsula of the Klostersee with charming reflections. And Frauenwörth - the religious heart of the Chiemgau .

These three ensembles also impress with their role in history and church architecture. All this is embedded in a fantastically beautiful landscape. Uphill and downhill gradients are manageable for everyone, allowing relaxed cycling and viewing.

Seebruck is chosen as the starting point. With fresh initial enthusiasm, the lively climbs to Baumburg are easily overcome. Then it goes straight back down into the valley. At one of the loops of the Alz you leave the course of the river to get to the Seeoner Seenplatte . It consists of seven smaller lakes and is considered a small paradise that offers some joy for explorers. The enchantingly situated monastery is a popular destination - very few will find solitude here. However, that changes as you continue your journey. The next driving hour takes you through the wonderfully lonely forest and felt area between Lake Chiemsee and the Eggstätter Seenplatte .

You can experience an almost uninhabited landscape here without any physical exertion. This only changes again when you reach the shore of Lake Chiemsee near Gstadt . The Frauenchiemsee monastery can only be reached by boat and is most easily explored without bicycles. After returning to the mainland, the journey continues along the Chiemsee Uferweg route back to Seebruck.
