As soon as we get to the Wuhrsteinalm, we have a wonderful view of the Breitenstein and the Geigelstein. We walk along the fairly steep forest path to the Wirtsalm and then turn right towards Geigelstein. We continue on a narrow path, first over alpine meadows and later through mountain pines to the Geigelstein summit. During a rest you can enjoy the panoramic view. From the summit we descend towards Rossalm and after about 20 minutes turn left towards the Priener Hut. A beautiful path continues which gets wider and wider as it goes and takes us to the Priener Hut. After a rest at the hut we continue on the easy path through alpine meadows until we reach our destination in Walchsee, where we can cool off with a dip in the lake. From here the following two bus connections lead back to Ettenhausen: The first connection goes from Walchsee to Kössen. There we change to the 9509 bus in the direction of Schleching at the VZ Kaiserwinkl stop in the center. After the twelve-minute journey we reach the destination stop in Ettenhausen. From there we walk the last ten minutes back to the starting point, the Geigelstein car park.
