Moor, pastures and mountain view hike

These almost 10km lead through an FFH area (Flora-Fauna-Habitat), a bird sanctuary and a nature reserve, pure untouched nature! There are no restaurants to stop along the way, but there are many "pleasure places" for a rest. Look for "your" resting places, whether in the forest under the tall fir trees, on the edge of the many high moors, on the open alpine meadows with a view of the Kitzbühel and Berchtesgaden mountains.

At the turning point of the hike, a rest and a pause are almost mandatory, because the view of the mountains is majestic. Take off your shoes here and walk barefoot back to the forest road through the slightly wet and soft meadow path, your feet will be grateful! But not only the view into the distance is fabulous on this tour. Even the small details that the alpine meadows, high moors and forest floor have in store are unique - just pure nature!

Tips for places to linger, enjoy, dream and observe: The forest at the "Stauweiher" pond, in the forest after the Mösererstuben, the "Wielandseiten" area with the many alpine pastures, at the turning point the Gföller Mähder (= the meadows of the village of Gföll)

Attention: The junction after the Mösererstuben is not marked, after the Mösererstuben take the first turn to the left and after approx. 150m turn right, in the pasture area of the Wielandsseiten the path is marked again.
