MTB 19 Staffen circular tour (from Marquartstein)

The tour starts at the Hochplattenbahn hiking car park. From there we first cycle downhill towards the fairytale park. There we go along the edge of the forest to Grassau. A little way along the cycle path that runs alongside the road towards Rottau, then we turn left towards Adersberg. From there we soon go up a wide forest road past a few alpine pastures (you can stop for a refreshment with a short detour to the Rottau Moier-Alm) until we reach the highest point of the tour below the wooded Staffen summit. We enjoy the view of Hochplatte and Friedenrath as well as into the Loferer Steinberge mountains before we continue down the forest path to Marquartstein to the starting point - past the next refreshment stop, the Staffn-Alm.
