Tour description:
From the starting point of the tourist information office, follow the signs in the direction of Seegatterl and continue past lakes Weitsee and Mittersee to Lödensee. There it goes through a forest back towards lake Weitsee.
Further on the old embankment you come to the lake Weitsee car park from where you follow the road to the Röthelmoos / Wappbach junction. The path leads up to the Röthelmoos on a gentle incline.
At the Langerbaueralm turn left (Kanonenpass) onto the very steep forest road towards Oberwössen / Brem. From Oberwössen, following the signs, via the Aßbergalm to the Hutzenalm, the tour continues with a further 400 meters of altitude. The route leads back to the starting point via Birnbach.
Great places to stop for a break at the Röthelmoosalm.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl.
