Tour description:

The starting point for this winter hike is at the Tourist Info and initially follows the Kaiserblick Panorama trail in the direction of Entfelden. The path, which runs in the valley with almost no climbs, does not place any special demands on equipment or physical condition. After crossing the main road, follow the signs to Seegatterl (hiking trail/ cross-country trail). The path away from the hustle and bustle leads through a picturesque winter landscape along the "Schwarzlofer" mountain stream. The free shuttle bus is available for the way back.

Tip: This hike can be combined with the winter hike at lake Weitsee.

Attention: There are cross-country skiers/ skaters on this route, please be considerate.

Refreshment stops: Seegatterlalm, Sachenbacheralm (2 km away from Seegatterl)

From Munich or Salzburg on the federal motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B 305) to Reit im Winkl. Arrival by public transport
