Tour description:

Starting point: Hemmersuppenalm/ Hindenburghütte

This particularly attractive and absolutely snow-reliable trail on the plateau of the Hemmersuppenalm, in the middle of an impressive mountain landscape, is an insider tip for cross-country skiers of all skill levels. The starting point is the Hindenburghütte (1,180 m), which can be reached with a fee-based shuttle bus. Please note the operating times of the buses. From the Hindenburghütte restaurant, follow the signs with no. 12 for the skating trail. Enjoy the beautiful landscape with a beautiful view from the Watzmann mountain to Lake Chiemsee.

There is also an easy 2 km long practice trail for beginners.

Arrival by car

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the federal motorway Munich - Salzburg (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue in the direction of Marqartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn in the direction of Blindau, approx. 1 km to the car park:-Fellhornweg, 832432 Reit im Winkl.

From Munich or Innsbruck on the federal motorway Rosenheim - Innsbruck (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59). Continue to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn towards Blindau, approx. 1 km to the car park: Fellhornweg, 832432 Reit im Winkl.

Paid shuttle bus in the season from the parking lot.

Arrival by public transport
