Bürgerbräu - The brewery was given this name in 1901 when August Röhm, the great-grandfather of today's brewery, Christoph Graschberger, bought the brewery. It has stood right next to the town hall in Bad Reichenhall since 1494. And that's where the Bürgerbräu brews its beers. Brewed with the pure water of the Alps, you can taste the freshness of the surrounding mountains. Who could rightly call itself an “Alpine brewery” than the Bürgerbräu – in the middle of the Bad Reichenhall Alps?! With 19 types of the best DLG-awarded beers, all brewed according to the "Reichenhall Purity Law" of 1493, the brewery is now a guarantor of Bavarian beer culture far beyond the region.
