Tour description:
From the starting point on a flat forest road in wide bends to the east (path 131) in the direction of the Nattersbergalm.
About 3 km through the forest, then into a forest road that branches off to the right. After approx. 30 minutes on path no. 13 coming up from the left in the direction of Hindenburghütte.
Now follow this right to the Obere Hemmersuppenalm. Past St. Anna's Chapel and the Sulzner Kaser hut it goes back to the starting point.
Special features: viewpoint to lake Chiemsee at the Hindenburghütte, St. Anna's chapel, Hemmersuppenalm alpine pasture area.
Tip: The Hindenburghütte can be reached by minibuses from Reit im Winkl from the tourist information and car park in Blindau, or via the hiking trail from Blindau ski jumps (path no.16).
From the Hemmersuppenalm you have a magnificent view of the "Bavarian Sea", lake Chiemsee, and the surrounding mountains. The alpine flora is also beautiful in spring with the gentian blooms in May and the alpine rose in June.
St. Anna's Chapel on Upper Hemmersuppenalm, built in 1906, is also very popular, traditional holidays are celebrated here every year with church services.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine Road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn in the direction of Blindau and approx. 1 km to the Fellhornweg car park, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit 59). On to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Drive from the village in the direction of Ruhpolding. After approx. 1 km turn in the direction of Blindau and approx. 1 km to the Fellhornweg car park, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
