Wedding or company event, cabaret or opera, theater or arts and crafts market - the events that are held in Pertenstein Castle are varied. A stroke of luck for the region and by no means a matter of course. Pertenstein was built around 1290 as a small noble seat of the Counts of Toerring . In the following centuries it was expanded from a simple castle to a residential palace - and ultimately stood empty. The teacher Hans Lauber then founded the "Heimatbund Pertenstein" in the 1960s, which concluded a leasehold contract with the owners for 100 years. A few decades and a lot of work later, Schloss Pertenstein is a gem that you must have seen.
Tip
"The Theater Factory" from Traunreut is a regular guest in Pertenstein with its program of events. The Marstallsaal promises a cultural evening in a very special atmosphere.
