From the Geigelstein car park in Ettenhausen, follow a wide forest path in the direction of Klobenstein . The path leads past the Rudersburger See and then runs uphill at the former border. You follow the path to the suspension bridge that leads over the Entenlochklamm to Gasthof Klobenstein.
After a rest and a visit to the local pilgrimage church , the path continues up to the main road. Follow this for about 200 meters to the right until a trail branches off to the left to Samerrast . Here you have a very nice view of the Geigelstein , which you can enjoy until you continue to the Bäckeralm, to the Streichen mountain inn and to the Streichenkirche St. Servatius . It then goes back via the Haideralm to Wagrain until you arrive back at the parking lot.
