Cross-border hiking in the footsteps of the smugglers
Cross-border hiking in the footsteps of the smugglers
Tour description:
From Schleching-Ettenhausen, the spectacular smugglers' trail meanders almost exclusively through the nature reserve on the Tiroler Ache . The pram-friendly path runs to the border . The new alpine alternative leads - mostly as a trail - over small streams, past the Rudersburger See and a waterfall. After a suspension bridge at the Totermann Bach, the route continues to the new suspension bridge at the Entenlochklamm. At this point, a breathtaking view of the Ache, the Kampenwand and the monument of an exposed glacier mill awaits. A smaller circular route over the old and new suspension bridge as well as two viewing platforms on the Kössen side - also spectacular - is now also possible.
