The 10-hectare bathing park at the Strandkurhaus Waging is located on the south-western shore of Lake Waging. You can easily reach the water of the natural lake via a 500 m long pebble beach . Thanks to its shallow depth of only 27 meters , Lake Waging warms up quickly in summer and offers you a pleasant bathing temperature .
Bathing fun for the whole family
Young and old swimmers can easily get into the water via stairs or the flat pebble beach . There is a non-swimmer area especially for the little ones where they can let off steam. Outside the water, a children's playground provides entertainment. Strengthened with an ice cream from the kiosk , you can rent a boat and sail across Lake Waginger.
Relax in the Badepark am Waginger See
Spread out your towel and make yourself comfortable on the sunbathing lawn, which was created as a bathing park. On about 40,000m² there is enough space to take a long sunbath. Numerous trees provide cool shade and give the complex a graceful appearance. Stroll along the 3 km long promenade along the lake . The park-like atmosphere invites you to take long walks. You always have the eastern bank and the panorama of the Chiemgau Alps in view.
If you want to let off steam in a sporty way, you will always find a suitable option in the sports or water park . You can strengthen yourself in the restaurant with regional and national delicacies. From the lake terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view over the bathing park and Lake Waginger .

Parking fees are charged:
Daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. €1.00/hour (minimum charge €2)
Day ticket: €5.00
Annual ticket: €50.00
Of course, pedestrians and cyclists do not have to pay a parking fee.
Tip
Ten campsites around Lake Waginger and Lake Tachinger allow you to spend a holiday right on or near the lake. Jump into the cool water for the first time before breakfast and let your eyes wander over the lake before you fall asleep.
