Enjoying nature at the Tengling lido
Surrounded by small forests and the gently rolling hills of the foothills of the Alps , the Tengling lido stretches over 130 meters along the north shore of Lake Taching , which forms the center of an extensive landscape conservation area . Like the Waginger See, the Tachinger See is particularly warm in summer due to its shallow depth of only 19 meters .
Along the shore, a flat water course as well as sand and small pebbles allow you to get into the water comfortably . The shallow water and the non-swimmer area at the edge offer playing and bathing fun, even for the youngest bathers, who can also have fun on the children's playground . The around 7000 m² sunbathing lawn offers enough space to enjoy the summer sun rays and let your gaze wander over the lake in front of you and the nearby mountains.
Sporting pleasures
For those who like a little more action, the bathing island with a diving board and the jetty into the lake are just the thing. Outside the water, a beach volleyball court and a boules court offer you opportunities to let off steam.
You can take it easy with a leisurely boat trip . Rent a boat at the lido and sail across Lake Taching from there. Watch the hustle and bustle on land from the water and experience the surrounding landscape from a new perspective.

Tip
Not far from the bathing beach is the church of St. Coloman on a small hill. The church, built around 1500, is considered one of the most beautiful churches in the Chiemgau. The church can only be visited during events or by prior arrangement with the Tourist Information Taching am See. From the hill you have a fantastic view of Lake Taching and the Chiemgau Alps, which you can enjoy at any time (in good weather).
