At 5 kilometers long, the sandy beach in southern Germany is characterized by an extremely flat and sandy access to the water. So your little ones can easily go into the water and you can enjoy the day. Thanks to the children's playground , even after cooling off in the water, the little ones won't get bored. For the sporty among you, you will find table tennis tables and volleyball courts on the large sunbathing area.
You can have a snack or two to keep you hungry in between and to strengthen yourself after a round in the pleasantly cool Chiemsee. Two kiosks and a beach café provide you with a variety of delicacies.

From the Chiemsee beach you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets that you can imagine in this country. You sit on the shore in the evening with a cocktail and look to the west. The sun slowly sinks lower and lower behind the mountains and is reflected in all shades of red in the water.
Cooling down for everyone
The Übersee lido is not only barrier-free, but also offers people with walking disabilities the opportunity to borrow a special beach wheelchair. With this all-terrain wheelchair you can drive over hill and dale and easily get to the water via the beach. If you want to cool off, you simply drive into the water, since the wheelchair floats, nothing stands in the way of cooling off.
