Around the Tüttensee
A beautifully landscaped circular path takes you around the lake on foot. With a length of 1.75 kilometers , an easy hike around the idyllically situated Moorsee awaits you. On the way boards inform you about the formation of the small Toteissee . Do you prefer to travel by bike? No problem! On the well-developed network of cycle paths in the Chiemgau , you can also go on a (small) cycle tour on Lake Tüttensee.
From the 400m² terrace of the Seewirtschaft you have a wonderful view of the Tüttensee and the surrounding nature reserve . Enjoy the sun's rays and enjoy regional as well as international dishes. End your day comfortably with a cocktail by the lake.
Off into the cool water
Thanks to its size, the Tüttensee warms up quickly in summer and thus offers you an ideal bathing temperature . The Tüttensee seaside resort is located directly on the lake. A large sunbathing area surrounded by trees invites you to linger. You can also relax on the two swimming islands in the middle of the lake. You can refresh yourself with a dip in the cool water over some footbridges. In the non-swimmer area , it is also possible for less experienced swimmers and children to cool off on hot summer days.

Tip
Visit the Tüttensee in winter too! Stroll through the snow-covered forest area or, with a bit of luck, get out your ice skates and do your laps on the frozen lake. Afterwards you can warm up with a mulled wine in the Seewirtschaft.
