Über die Chiemhauseralm zum Streichen

Balsberg hiking car park - Chiemhauseralm - Streichenkirche - Achberg - Gliding airfield From the hiking car park, follow path no. 91 towards Streichen. Over the Teilleitenrücken you will soon reach a crossroads. Here, follow path no. 92 towards Chiemhauseralm. Continue on path no. 9 over the Donaueralm, then path no. 92 again to the Streichenkirche. On path no. 15 over Achberg you will reach the gliding airfield. After the Fliegeralm, a narrow path along the edge of the forest, keeping to the right, takes you back to the starting point. Attention: the Achberg - Unterwössen forest road is currently closed due to rockfall. Alternative route via Wagrain - Ettenhausen - Ache - Mühlau - Buchberg - Raitener Brücke car park.
