Tour description:
From the starting point in Seegatterl, it's half an hour on a wide path (path 13) up to the Nattersbergalm / Knogleralm alpine pasture area.
Continue along a forest road that forks after a 30-minute climb. Path no. 13 continues straight ahead and you come to the huts of the Upper Hemmersuppenalm.
Path no. 15 then leads past the Sulznerkaser and on to the Hindenburghütte restaurant.
Special features: Hemmersuppenalm alpine pasture area, Hindenburghütte viewpoint to lake Chiemsee.
There is the possibility of taking the shuttle bus to Reit im Winkl for a fee and then walking the easy hiking trail no.9 back to Seegatterl (walking time approx. 90 min.)

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine road (B305) to Reit im Winkl.
At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district. Parking: -Seegatterl, 83242 Reit im Winkl.
Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit no. 59). On to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. Connections to Reit im Winkl from Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection !!) With the RVO bus line 9505.
Stop directly at the tourist information office, then change to lines 9506 and 9507. Seegatterl stop.
