Hike to Staffn-Alm / Starting point: Bergwald-Erlebnisweg (from Hochplattenbahn cable car station)

At the valley station of the Hochplattenbahn we turn right over the small bridge. The so-called winter hiking trail leads up along the Tennbodenbach. It is easy at first, but soon becomes a relatively steep section, which we follow up to the forest road. We continue to hike to the right on the forest road until we are directed left at the next signpost towards Staffn-Alm. The last section of the winter hiking trail just before the mountain station is again very steep and requires a good level of fitness. The mountain forest adventure trail begins at the mountain station with the first station and behind it we can already see the Staffn-Alm. The Alm invites you to linger and offers drinks, small dishes, hot meals or snacks. Strengthened, we set off on the way back, but this time to the right past the mountain station on the easy-to-walk forest road and after about an hour we reach the starting point of our hike again.
