Tour description:
Start towards an eastery direction along the campsite to the ascent trail to Winklmoos. Follow the trail to Hahnfilze (forest service hut), branch off to the east here shortly before the hut and follow the hiking trail to the junction of the winter hiking trail to the Winklmoos-Alm.
Continue on the access road to the Hotel "Winklmoos-Alm" and various paths to the mountain station of the gondola.
Note: please stay on the right-hand side when ascending or descending, as this is also the cross-country ski trail from Winklmoos / Hahnfilze. The winter hiking trail can also be used with sledges, but watch out for pedestrians and skiers.
The route can be easily combined with the gondola lift.
The parking spaces at the gondola can only be used for a day or a single trip, parking spaces without the use of the gondola are available 300m after Seegatterl in the direction of Ruhpolding 5 € / day.

Coming from Munich or Salzburg on the Munich - Salzburg motorway (A8 to Grabenstätt exit no. 109), continue towards Marquartstein and on the well-developed German Alpine road (B305) to Reit im Winkl. At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district.

Coming from Munich or Innsbruck on the Rosenheim - Innsbruck motorway (A93) to Oberaudorf (exit 59). On to Walchsee, Kössen and Reit im Winkl. At the entrance to the village (Entfelden) in the direction of Ruhpolding approx. 5 km to the Seegatterl district. Parking: -Seegatterl 83242 Reit im Winkl
Connections to Reit im Winkl from the Prien am Chiemsee train station (best bus connection !!), stop directly at the tourist information office.
With the shuttle bus (RVO) from the tourist information every half hour to Seegatterl.
