In the free outdoor pool on the eastern shore of the lake , you can sit down on the spacious sunbathing lawn and watch the anglers at their favorite spot. After a good portion of sun and warmth, it's off to the lake. There is not only a paddling area for the little ones among you, but also a non-swimmer zone marked out with large stones.
A children's paradise in the Wössner See lido
What will probably catch your eye right from the start - this lake is a real paradise for children. First you start with the double water slide in the lake and then you swim. Several discarded surfboards are floating on the lake, so it happens that there is one or the other competition among the little ones. Who stays stable longer on the board and who falls down again quickly? A large wooden raft is also gliding on the waves of the lake. The Seestüberl , renovated in 2008, is right on the lake shore. The spacious terrace with a large roof invites you to linger. Especially in the evening - when the sun goes down - it is a real experience to try the local delicacies there. Typical Bavarian , homemade cakes and a warm kitchen will not leave you hungry.

Tip
Several hiking routes are possible around the Wössner See. Hike, for example, to the Hochgern, which you can see from the lake in a beautiful distance. In the Hochgernhaus, the dairymaid will spoil you with fresh milk, cheese and bacon. A homemade cake tastes three times as good after a hike.
