Natural idyll Zellersee at the foot of the Geigelstein
At the edge of the Alps - in the middle of the Geigelstein nature reserve - lies the small but beautiful Zellersee . The well-groomed sunbathing lawn leads you directly into the cool water. But before you really dive in, enjoy a fine foot massage - the bathing surface changes from larger stones to fine pebbles and fine sand.
For less experienced swimmers there is a non-swimmer area, where you will certainly have a lot of fun with your little ones. The vacation day flies by for the little ones. They come out of the water and walk straight on to the children's playground or sand court . Should you let off steam on the playground first or rather build a sandcastle? With so many possibilities, the little ones never think of getting bored. Table tennis tables are available for all those who want to do sports.
Camping directly at the lake
The Zellersee campsite is right on the water. In addition to parking spaces for a wide variety of housing options and mobile homes, it is also very easy to do sports there. In addition to tennis courts , table tennis and badminton , there is also an artificial climbing wall . Weekly climbing courses and guided hikes from Lake Zell are offered during the high season. In the kiosk and the beer garden you will be treated to nutritious dishes.
