Handmade wheat beer for lovers and connoisseurs
Founded in 1910 as a "white and brown beer brewery", the Weißbräu Freilassing has been owned by the family since 1938. Bernhard Kuhn learned brewing from scratch. Since it was founded, Freilassinger Edelweizen has been brewed in the only wood-fired brewing kettle in the region and bottled in original "Maurer bottles".
The Freilassinger Edelweizen and Freilassinger Edelweizen dark are of excellent quality, handmade and are mainly brewed for the inn.
A special wheat beer treat, the “Renator” wheat double bock, is only available during Advent. It is available in Weißbräu in limited quantities and only “while stocks last”.
The artisanally brewed, natural wheat beers are enjoyed by lovers from all over the world - preferably among like-minded people in the rustic dining room or in the shady chestnut beer garden in Freilassing.
