Summit hike Refreshment options: Haidenholzalm (*); Vordere Dalsenalm (Huber-Kaser) (*) (*) Typical alpine snack, coffee and cake during the alpine pasture season (please note opening times) Achental hiking badge Checkpoints: Blasialm; Haidenholzalm; Vordere Dalsenalm Special features: quiet Chiemgau mountain peak; in early summer a beautiful carpet of flowers around the summit cross; marmots on the Hintere Dalsenalm Description: From the Schleching Au hiking car park, the path leads past the Blasialm to the Haidenholzalm, which offers typical alpine hospitality. The further path leads along the Schneegraben towards Rossalm, Geigelstein, first in serpentines, then over the alpine pasture, until the path to the Weitlahnerkopf branches off to the right at the mountain pine belt. The path is flat up to the flower-lined summit and a well-deserved rest. A few meters back and then down to the right with a short rope safety device and then in many switchbacks over the ski touring slope to the Dalsenalm. Follow the forest road to the Mühlau junction (Schattseitweg). As the name suggests, the forest road is shady all the way to Mühlau. However, a detour via the Vordere Dalsenalm can be made. Here, at the Huber-Kaser, a well-earned alpine snack and cake awaits hikers on weekends. From here, it is better to walk straight along the Dalsenbach to Mühlau. In Mühlau, head towards Schleching. Leave the first yellow chapel on the left, keep right at the second, so-called youth chapel and turn onto the Mühlberg circular path and continue towards Ettenhausen until you reach the starting point, the Schleching Au hiking car park.
